Sydney Shopping Centres
The Sydney CBD is where you should head for some amazing shopping. Sydney City offers shopping options for people with different budgets. For people on a budget there are bargains to be found at the markets, inside shopping centres and stores located on the Sydney's main shopping streets, mainly being George St and Pitt St. For those with more to spend, there are a number of luxury designer brands with boutiques open in Sydney. Find major international designer brands all within walking distance of each other along King St, Castlereagh St and in Martin Place.
Queen Victoria Building (QVB)
The Queen Victoria Building, or simply the QVB, is one of the most historic buildings in Sydney and one of the city's most beautiful shopping centres, with its Romanesque architecture, stained glass windows and original tilework dating back to 1898. On the four floors of shopping, you will find Australian chain stores alongside international designer brands. There are a number of cafes throughout the QVB so you can rest during your shopping spree or enjoy a traditional afternoon tea in The Tea Room located on Level 3 of the QVB.

The Galeries Victoria
The Galeries Vicotria, or the TGV, is a shopping centre located opposite to the QVB on George St. Inside The Galeries Victoria are a number of stores selling Australian and international brands. One of Sydney's best fashion boutiques, Incu, is located at The Galeries Victoria, with opposite stores for mens and womens fashion. You can also enrich your mind, by heading over to Kinokuniya, one of Sydney's most comprehensive bookstores specialising in design, art, manga and international publications, is located on level 2. Once you are feeling hungry head over to Ichiban Boshi, one of the best places in Sydney to get deliciously authentic, yet cheap, Japanese ramen noodles, which are well worth the wait!

Pitt Street Mall
Pitt St Mall is where most of Sydney's shopping centres converge, making it a great point to start shopping from. Pitt St Mall is surrounded by the historic Strand Arcade, the flagship stores of Australia's biggest department stores, Myer and David Jones, and is the site of the new Westfield Sydney, which will be home to a great range of local and international brands.
